Our Strategic Partner, the Leadership Institute, offers weekend-long educational sessions that help young leaders launch a career in political activism. Topics covered include:
- Building an effective student organization
- Getting out the vote
- Earned media and favorable publicity
- Developing a public relations strategy
- Launching a successful career in politics
This is the premier training school for up and coming youth activists. YAL strongly encourages you to find a training in your area and attend. The YLS will prepare you for this fall on campus and the upcoming elections in 2010.
