Young Americans for Liberty in the News

Young Americans for Liberty has been getting lots of media coverage...

Ron Paul gets attention from the University of South Carolina's newspaper for his visit to the school on Monday, November 9th. South Carolina local news was also excited about Dr. Paul's visit.
An independent student newspaper serving the University of Georgia community mentioned Young Americans for Liberty in a recent report.
Young Americans for Liberty at Dixon held a forum on November 14 to talk about government expansion. The forum included speaker Anthony Gregory from the Independent Institute.
Natalie Villalon of the Student Life newspaper at Washington University shares her reaction to the WU YAL chapter's presentation of a mock gulag on November 9th. The presentation was shut down by the campus administration, giving the YAL chapter even more media attention.

Washington University Rebuilding the Wall Event

As reported at Campaign for Liberty:

In order to demonstrate the consequences of socialism, WUYAL crafted a Soviet-style gulag. The four walled, 10 foot high stockade was displayed prominently in the middle of campus for most of the day. Around the prison marched guards dressed in Soviet regalia and inside were abused prisoners who had resisted the socialist regime. Playing in the background was the Soviet National Anthem and a speech containing propaganda to which the prisoners were forced to listen.
