The 2000s: A Decade Of Self Delusion?

 Pat Buchanan thinks so. Indeed, almost everyone can agree that the first decade of the 21st Century has been unfortunate as ever. Two wars, a global economic crisis, and terrorism on the rise all probably add up to irreversible damage to America.

Buchanan makes excellent points in his article covering many of the issues in pragmatic perspective.  He obviously makes clear distinctions bewteen the once tangible American dream to the grim reality today.  He mentions the weakening dollar, our skyrocketing national debt, the disastrous issues of the stock market and our financial dependence on China. It is a long article, however he makes great arguments on which direction our country is headed. Although his opinion on free frade is controversial, his article provides more depth in other issues.
