YAL-er to Be in FOX News Tomorrow Morning 10:30 ET

The Daily Caller interviewed me yesterday and did a nice playful write-up that was published today, and FOX News picked up the story. I will do a live satellite interview for America's Newsroom at 10:30 ET (that's 7:30 PDT, for my fellow Californians) to talk about the TEA Party and liberty movements. Here is part of the story from the Daily Caller by Alex Pappas:

The rising sophomore from Dixon, Calif. is so committed to the libertarian, Tea Party cause that he once waved a sign reading “13 years old and trillions in debt” by himself on a street corner when his fellow Tea Partier buddies backed out on him on April 15th’s Tax Day nationwide rallies.

“I had a couple of friends that were going join me for just standing out on the corner with our protest signs,” Minnema said during a phone interview. “But then they all…ended up flaking out, and I figured because I had taken all the time to put together this sign… I better at least use it.”

Poll: Cable News Viewing Habits

Over at my personal blog, I've posted a poll surveying others' cable news viewing habits. Since my graduate thesis is on the broadcast fairness doctrine, I thought I'd do some very unscientific research.

To view and/or participate in the poll, click here. Thanks.

Glenn Beck: Cut Military Spending and End the Wars

For anyone who missed it, the topic of yesterday's Glenn Beck Show was quite a shock. He advocated a non-interventionist foreign policy and a massive reduction in military spending. I'm usually just as skeptical of Beck as anyone else, but he really deserves credit for this.

Liberty Organizations Overtake CPAC 2010

I had intended on writing a recap of my experience at this years Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), however, I believe this video sums up my thoughts and emotions quite well.

Fox News Being...Fox News

Here is a great mash up clip from Daily Kos demonstrating how Fox News will go to any length to dismiss anything Ron Paul accomplishes as meaningful. Hey at least they are consistent, right?

SNL on FOX News

Apropos of the recent post on Jon Stewart's defense of Ron Paul against FOX's tendency to conveniently forget about him:

Let's get "The Judge" on the Air.

Watch this hilarious diatribe Judge Napolitano spewed yesterday on FOX. What a heroic man this is! Not only is he the only real (pro-war 'cosmo' libertines don't qualify) libertarian pundit in the MSM, but he is a radical, principled one at that.

If we show FOX that their Judge is "in demand," then he's bound to get his own libertarian program on the air eventually. (which will mean a regular itinerary of Rothbardian guests on National TV!) The best way to do this is not only tuning into "Freedom Watch," but also spiking Glenn Beck's ratings, though only when the Judge is guesthosting. That means TOMORROW, to those that will be free at 5 PM ET. :]
