BP Bans Fueling Iranian Airliners Due to New Sanctions

According to new reports, BP will refuse to refuel airliners from Iran because of last week's new sanctions, which put restrictions of refined petrolium. Though Britain and Germany denied that they had any involvement with the order to stop refueling Iranian civilian aircrafts, most officials even go further and deny that this has anything to do with crippling Iran's economy.

Anyways, I am sure everyone knows BP's history with Iran and the coup of 1953. Here is a mini-documentary about about the coup:

Beware of H.R. 4213

Amid the Gulf Coast oil spill crisis, Congress is ready to do what it does best: raise taxes. According to H.R. 4213, tax prices will be raised up to 32 cents a barrel to clean up the mess BP is (or should be) responsible for . However, that is not the suprise. It is estimated that the increase could sum up to $11 billion for the next decade, but this tax increase is only apart of the $200 billion Congress had added for other purposes.
