Hit Pieces and Yellow Journalism

There are several things that neoconservatives are great at:  running America into the ground, starting wars, and marginalizing and villifying anyone that threatens their aristocracy. Establishment hack Michelle Malkin would make Bill Kristol proud after her vicious hit piece of Adam Kokesh. Malkin writes,

... and another prominent member who smeared the Young America’s Foundation by faking an anti-Muslim hate flyer and smeared David Horowitz with similar race-card playing flyers, then weaseled out of the attacks by claiming they were “satire.”

The last two incidents involved an IVAW member named Adam Kokesh. He marched in uniform in mock patrols for the anti-war movement, paraded around holding an upside-down American flag (see Jonn Lilyea for more), was arrested for defacing signs, and traveled to Germany to urge soldiers to abandon their posts and seek aid and comfort with his anti-war minions."

If Ms. Malkin would actually do some research, she would probably realize just how wrong she is.

Adam Kokesh discusses the Fed

YAL supporter and Congressional Candidate Adam Kokesh talked with RT on Monday regarding the Federal Reserve.  Adam gives a great explanation for why the Fed really needs to be audited.

Freedom Watch 07/15/09

Here is this week's episode of Freedom Watch -- which, if I must say, was above par for even this great show.

In this clip there is even some big news: Adam Kokesh announces that he is running for Congress as a Republican, a Constitutional Republican that is. Check it out for yourself and, as always, spread this episode of Freedom Watch around.

Adam Kokesh Announces Bid for Congress

July 4th 2009: Santa Fe, NM

Adam Kokesh hosted an event, "Celebrate American r3VOLtion" where speakers, muscians, and activists from across the United States gathered to rally behind the principles of freedom on which the U.S. was founded.

It was here that Adam Kokesh announced his official run for Congress:

"It was great to know that you were all standing behind me as I announced Saturday night that I am running for Congress and intend to represent New Mexico's third district in the US House of Representatives [...]"

See his announcement here:

Celebrate American r3VOLution!

This July 4th I will be speaking as an activist and member of YAL in Santa Fe, New Mexico at an event entitled Celebrate American r3VOLution.  The event is being hosted by Adam Kokesh who,  so a little blue bird told me, is making a big announcement at the July 4th event concerning his possible run for Congress in New Mexico's 3rd District. We will be sure to cover this announcement here, on YAL.

Also making appearances at the event is the liberty rider himself, Michael Maresco, pioneer of the r3VOLution logo itself, Ernest Hancock, and many other liberty activists from all over the United States; there has even been reports of some finger-painting in the district.

We're looking forward to a great event here in Santa Fe and I, like you, know that Independence Day is about much more than fireworks and hotdogs.  I know that fellow YAL members will be celebrating American r3VOLution the right way -- about liberty.

What are you doing for liberty on this July 4th?

More Anti-War than Ron Paul?

NC Republican Congressman Walter Jones has been, more or less, left off the table for discussion amongst fellow Republicans in the country; however, why has the liberty movement not rallied behind the message of non-interventionism portrayed by good ol' "Freedom Fries" Jones? He is, truly, amongst the most staunch opponents of foreign war and the r3VOLution could certainly use another Republican on our side on this issue of not only economic importance, but also of pure intrinsic human value.

In a recent interview with Adam Kokesh, Congressman Jones talks about his transformation from voting for the Iraq war, to voting against every piece of war-funding legislation since.

Your work, Congressman Jones, will no longer go unnoticed.
