John McCain is trying to find candidates that fit his "moderate Republican" mold. This is complete craziness.  The Democrats keeping picking candidates that lean further and further to the left, and McCain seems to want to follow in their footsteps.

Our policital spectrum is completely screwed up if someone like McCain is considered "Center-Right."  Now is not the time to placate to those on the left.  We must hold true to the values on which this country was founded.  Remaking the last remnants of what was once a conservative party in the image of John McCain is the equivilent of remaking the New England Patriots in the image of the Detroit Lions.

There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care.  These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation.  Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.

I kind of hope this post gets submitted, along with pages and pages of other information to keep these bureaucrats busy.  Of course, if our elected officials can't be expected to read bills before they pass them, it's hard to believe that submissions to flag@whitehouse.gov will get read either. 

On the other hand, our government seems more and more determined to watch our every move, prying into our supposedly private lives, destroying whatever free market capitalism we have left, and walking roughshod over our rights.  And that's worse than "fishy."
