A libertarian movie fix?

Well, not exactly. But what an oustanding film "Avatar" is. If Lew Rockwell's recommendation isn't enough for you, there are plenty of not-so-subtle anti-war, anti-state messages in the film that could've easily been written by a libertarian.

I especially liked how the film emphasized the personal choices and values of individual members of the US Marines engaged in the aggressive violence against the alien race, as opposed to the war-is-romantic sub-theme of "The Notebook" or the "collective guilt," message implied by "Fahrenheit 9/11."

I saw this movie in 3D, which was cool. However, the movie was disappointing. The story line was all too predicatble. Despite the predictatble story line, the movie did have many relevant references to America's mentality. Read this awesome review here, written by Edward Hudgins fromt the Atlas Society.
