YAL @ NC State Protests Obama's Visit

On January 15, President Barack Obama came to the central campus of NC State to talk about adding more jobs to the Tarheel State's economy. As soon as word was released, the dedicated members of the NCSU chapter of YAL went to work organizing a protest.
The team prepared by creating a plethora of attention on the internet for the protest, and gaining support from other liberty-minded groups. Members reached out to all groups in the Raleigh area and planned properly. Our result was more than 50 protesters showing up to promote our cause!
Hours before Obama was supposed to speak, YALers were out on campus getting ready. We walked along the long line of students who were waiting to be seated and handed out mock programs that questioned his policies. Obama supporters cursed and ripped them up in our faces, and others laughed.
YAL and our programs were mentioned in more than 7 papers, 2 TV stations, and even a radio station. Through massive advertising to media stations, and a strong internet base, YAL's message of liberty was received by thousands!
