Liberty starts at home, and YAL members from Whatcom Community College remained active in Bellingham, WA during the summer break.
The WCC chapter was previously honored with being the first political group ever recognized on their campus. Leading the charge, Johnny Weaver and Justin McKay held an event to protest four new red-light cameras and two school-zone cameras.
Arguing that law enforcement should focus on protection of people and property, not making money, YAL at WCC teamed up with the local Campaign for Liberty and made their way to City Hall to make their voices heard.

I think this is definitely a great honor to have. Your hard work has really paid off here. I am really glad to see the great work.
