Wealth Creation vs. Government Spending

Thanks to Norman Horn of the Libertarian Christians blog for this link to one of his older posts on the inverse relationship between government spending as a percentage of GDP and growth in GDP per year:

The graph explains rather better than I could, but essentially what we have here is a situation in which, not surprisingly, the more the government tries to make things better, the more it makes them worse.
