Remember, remember, the fifth of November...
Some young staffers at the Republican Governors Association put together this great video at remembernovember.com.
We Will Remember from Republican Governors Association on Vimeo.
"Remember November so that we can return America to its founding principles of freedom, personal responsibility and economic liberty. We Remember November so we, our children, and grandchildren can live with the freedoms our founding fathers intended."

Sounds dandy, but it looks like a "vote them out" wave will let the GOP ride back into power without having to change their deficit spending big-government tune. Obama may be bad, but he is simply continuing many of the policies put forth by Bush, who was continuing the policies of Clinton, who was continuing... you get the point.
How appropriate that they started the video with a quote from America's Lenin, Abe Lincoln.
Agreed.
What I enjoy most about that particular quote is that Lincoln pretty much succeeded in fooling all of the people all of the time where his own presidency and beliefs are concerned.
Funny how Ron Paul was criticized by mainstream Republicans, like Glenn Beck, for getting donations on the fifth of November by being likened to a terrorist, but the Republican Governors Association is using the fifth of November now. Oh the irony!
Is glenn beck really a republican anymore? I know he used to be, when I listened to his radio show years ago, but I'm pretty sure the last episode of his show I caught was devoted entirely to cutting the national defense budget.
His rhetoric has definitely changed recently, but whether his actual opinions have as well remains to be seen. We'll see who he supports in the upcoming elections.
