YAL at UC Irvine had a very successful recruitment day at the Anteater Involvement Fair on September 24, 2012. We gave out free candy, otterpops (also known as freezepops -- a BIG hit), Constitutions, flyers, stickers, pens, books, and other paraphernalia. In all, we had over 100 sign-ups for our Young Americans for Liberty chapter. We also found and recruited many liberty-minded individuals who were interested in writing for our new liberty-based newspaper at UCI, The Irvine Independent.
