Gene Healy points this out in an a Cato Op-Ed, that if members of Congress are just now beginning to have "an adult conversation" on our budget deficit, what were they doing up until now? Having a baby conversation?

Ya see, I live in Indianapolis, Indiana- and one of the centers of the Union/Democrat fiascoes.
This comic could apply to what's going on here as well. The majority of our state Democrat senators fled to Illinois to stay in a hotel in their self-imposed exile.
Though I'm sure everyone has heard about that by now.
But yea, the Dems did act like babies here. Sore losers, they left as to throw a wrench into the democratic process and destroy the education reform and voucher bills that were up for votes.
