Here's a great new cartoon -- just for YAL -- from freelance illustrator Brian Defferding. Brian explains:
This cartoon is a direct retort to a Mike Thompson cartoon recently ran in
the Detroit Free Press, about the "seven dirty words can't say in
Washington" about GM claiming to repay their loan from Uncle Sam. The
reality of their claim is that they are actually giving money back to
the government using government money in order to get even more
government money. So I made a cartoon mocking his.

GM announced 4 weeks ago, in the AP, that they reported a loss of 4.8 Billion in the last quarter of 2009...........2 weeks later, on AP......GM announced they will invest some 600 million in refurbs to their Kansas and Missouri locations, 1 week later GM states they have repaid somne 8.2 billion in gumint loans.............now I read this money that they repaid was gumint money ...........what the FFFFFFFFFFF!!!!!!
the government must think ALL of us have single digit I.Q.'s, huh??
what arse holes these feckless liars are, how cynical they are to think we're all so brain dead to believe their lying asses!!!
No, they don't think we have single digit IQs. They think that no matter the IQ, they can do what they want because the American people can't do anything about it. And they're right. The people were overwhelmingly against the bailouts, but they went ahead anyway. The people are powerless.
