According to an independent watchdog group, Bernake and Paulson "misled" the public about the financial weakness of Bank of America and other early recipients of the governments $700 billion bailout.

Of course none of this takes into an account the billions of dollars secretly loaned out by the Fed. But it is good to know that some things about governments NEVER change.

Yeah, seriously, what about the discount window? That rate is set at .5%. Free money!
If we were able to keep cooperate influenced personal out of our government everything could be fine. Its tweaking government for increased business profit that slowly reduces the pure government we had. Unfortunately money and greed go hand n hand and our system is flawed from the start. It takes amazing minds to not be influenced by cash and power. The lack of dynamic thinkers and open minded people in government make it a fail. Most good people are in art, technology and education where we feel positive about putting our energy into doing something amazing. There is little love for wanting to be in government when we think so negatively on it. Only a weak mind would want money over doing something great for their people.
I hope they will just remember their responsibilities.
