US Congressman on the Constitutionality of the Health Care Bill

Here is Rep. Hare from Illinois' 17th district and his opinions on  the constitutionality of the health care bill.  The arrogance of this man is astounding.

Astounding.

... is an Amendment docking the pay -- and pensions -- by 10% of every Congressman and Senator who votes for any bill that is later found unconstitutional by the judiciary. Oh, and it's cumulative.

If that didn't convince them at least to read the bills before they vote, it'd at least provide effective term limits ;-)

So he was able to read a document of over 2,000 pages three times but yet was unable to read one document of only four to six?

Wow!   If MSM doesn't pick this up and run with it, then what the point?

What a complete fraud

At least he is honest when he says he doesn't care about the Constitution.  This is almost a breath of fresh air from the types that improperly invoke the general welfare, or the necessary and proper clause.

I love how he thinks "Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" is in the constitution. If your philosophy is built off of your emotions and "how you feel" at the time, how can you make long-term, principled decisions? Idiot.

I feel thankful I wasn't eating a salad while watching this because I prob would've choked on pinto beans and carrots from Hare's remarks...
