In yet another attempt to equate political dissent to terrorism, the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC); an American legal advocacy organization that publishes a quarterly Intelligence Report investigating extremism and hate groups in the United States, included Dr. Ron Paul and Judge Andrew Napolitano in its April, 2010 Publication, Meet the "Patriots."
This publication labels Dr. Paul as a "Radical Libertarian" and a "Conspiracy Theorist." It suggests that Judge Napolitano missed out on an opportunity to "rub elbows with neo-confederates, conspiracy theorists, and antigovernment patriot activists" when he was unable to speak at a Tenth Ammendment Summit in Atlanta this past February. This publication also demonizes 2008 Presidential Candidate Chuck Baldwin, former IRS Agent Joe Banister, Larry Pratt of Gun Owners of America (GOA) and many more. It should be noted that many militia Organizers who may or may not present a legitimate threat also appeared in this same publication.
In the Spring 2010 Intelligence Report, Rage on the Right, the SPLC equated Bob Schulz of the We The People Foundation (WTP) with neo-nazis and white supremacists. They also did a state by state breakdown of Active "Patriot" Groups in the United States, which again lumped militia groups in with WTP, The Constituion Party, The Independence Party and other non-violent groups.
Is Dr. Paul a dangerous extremist? Is Judge Napolitano a white supremacist? Are the millions of American citizens who are taking an active role in government and exercising their Constitutionaly protected freedoms a threat? Are citizens who come together to advance liberty by taking direct diplomatic action actually nothing more than hate groups? Or is it possible that the state is rapidly losing credibility and is attempting to marginalize its opposition?

These one-trick-pony tactics are starting to tire me and hopefully the popualtion at large. Dont they realize that mature adults are not going to put up with and will be able to see through grammar school antics of name calling? What is wrong with these people? I seriously question their stability and am unsure on whether or not they deserve humanity's forgiveness. GROW UP. Reading it over. It does not sound all that bad. It sounds like he is protesting the US taking citizens from Haiti and moving them to the US. I am pretty sure he is for open borders and would invite Haitians in if they traveled here on their own and not funded by the taxpayer for the transportation and future healthcare.
If this quote is true, he could have done without the first sentence. But if out of context of free government transportaion and imperial meddling in Haiti...
