Should Mahmoud Kowtow To Obama?

As awful as politicians are, I still hope Iran obeys the demands of Sarkozy, Brown, and Obama, and explicitly promises not to develop a nuclear weapon. Yes, the evidence for such a program's existence is already contested, and either way, the notion that Iran is nuke a western city is patently ridiculous.

But the likelihood of "war" (meaning the mass murder of innocents, as well as economic catastrophe) greatly increases should Iran develop -- or fail to rule out the development of -- an intrinsically evil nuclear device. Thus, I pray Iran's creepy president kowtows to the politicized demands of Obama and co.

I'm a little divided on the issue.
Personally, I think the US should just let Israel go... Let Israel deal with the threat to their national security and end the crisis... If Iran chooses to attack back it's up to Israel to handle their affairs...

From Iran's standpoint... there really is little benefit to this whole nuclear thing... At this point their best option is either to give in to international pressure or to appeal to China and Russia to come to their aid. My guess is that that's what Ahmadinejad's(sp?) plan is. With China and Russia on his side, Mahmoud will probably create an international entente with the rest of the world. At which point, action from Israel and the United States will be less likely to occur....

Iran will probably never give a nuke to any terrorist organization even if they did have one. Does anyone actually think they would give a nuke to some crazies after all their hard work and effort and money and time spent? No. Plus, the leadership of Iran values their lives, they know if they attack us then they will be completely wiped out. They're not nuts.

You're completely correct. It's telling that all of the murderous Communist regimes never used a nuclear weapon.

No head of government is "crazy." So long as the US maintains the world's most powerful military, the chance of a state using nuclear weapons against the US or any of its "clientele" appears miniscule.
