If Boehner, Cantor, and company don’t really want to lead the GOP, as they have made abundantly clear in their lame attempt at Republican solidarity, which they are pawning off as a Pledge to America, then I invite them to add a provision to their pledge that Congressman Ron Paul will be nominated for Speaker of the House after the Republicans sweep to victory this November.
Then at least, they can blame the House agenda on him and get through the real reforms this country needs with their lack of integrity or boldness still intact.

I concur, Congressman Ron Paul would make a great Speaker of the House. He could check and see if any proposed Referendums, Bills, or Acts would fall under the guidelines of our Constitution. It the proposed Bills, Referendums, or Acts didn't fall under the Constitution then he would have the power to not allow these proposed Bills,Acts or Referendums to come up for a vote until they are revised and meet the requirements of our Constitution. He would have the power to bring this nation back to a Constitutional Republic as it was origionally intended to be.
