The famous Judge, Andrew Napolitano, released a book in April this year called Dred Scott's Revenge, which concerns the Natural Law on the rights to life, liberty, and property, regardless of age, race, or any other organization of human beings. And that government intervention and recognition of racial differences has even encouraged private companies to discriminate based on race. In a free market economy there is little incentive to discriminate, because limiting your range of potential customers will make it harder for your business to survive. The Senate could make a better apology by reintroducing the Free Market and recognizing the individual rights of all African-Americans.Some members of the African-American community have called on lawmakers to give cash payments or other financial benefits to descendants of slaves as compensation for the suffering caused by slavery.
Today, the Senate approved a non-binding resolution apologizing to African-Americans for the wrongs of slavery throughout America's history.
