Yes, Ron Paul got more votes than the next two candidates combined. Part of that is awesome organization on the part of Campaign for Liberty and Young Americans for Liberty's staff and committed volunteers. And part of it, I think, is that Ron Paul's message of liberty can't be stopped -- even at CPAC.

Incredible. At CPAC no less. These next few election cycles are going to be about intrusive gov't vs. small gov't; it is no longer about the culture wars. That's one thing we can certainly see from Ron Paul's win.
I suspect it was because he was the only one on the schedule to speak at this conference. An unfair advantage perhaps?
That's not a complete schedule. Romney, Pawlenty, Pence, and Gingrich all spoke at least. Palin didn't, and I'm not sure about the others, but RP definitely wasn't the only one.

I love seeing Ron Paul at the top of the list. However, it worries me that individuals out there view Sarah Palin as a qualified presidential candidate.
Kinda infuriated me on how people were cheering for Mitt Romney ( a fraud and a RINO). It's just a reminder on how much work the liberty movement has left to do.
I support Dr. Paul fully, but my only concern, and I do view it as a legitimate concern, will be age. He will be 76 and 77 in 2012, and that is actually a worrysome age (as compared to the BS about McCain's age last cycle, 72 (Which is the age Ron Paul was at during the 2008 cycle) is not too old), I'd like to see Dr. Paul run, but I'm not sure who should run as VP with him, I can't think of anybody is nearly as great as Dr. Paul while still holding experience.
I may be looking too far ahead, but I'd like to see Dr. Rand Paul run someday, perhaps 2016 or 2020?

I'm actually suprised Ron Paul was top of the polls. He has made some rather strange speeches that I would have thought lost him points. There was one whilst he was on tour at an idol white exhibition, he made a complete fool of himself!
I am not surprised from this poll because Ron paul has guts to stay on top. He is a good speaker though...

It was the exact same words I have heard from him since I 1st met him here. I just dont know if he meant each and every term that he mentioned but I have a strong feeling that they are meant to insult. I hope Mac can make it possible to say it in this kind of a way that no one gets hurt or insulted.
