The financial reform bill has finally passed. And this was long overdue. We fell short. There should never be an exemption for the automobile industry. They spent about $3.5 million in lobbying. But think about it. A car is the second most expensive item a family will buy. The house is number one. And some families have 2 or more cars. The consumers need protection.
