Here's Rand Paul's victory speech, as covered by CNN.  A Tea Party favorite, Paul takes the opportunity to speak strongly against big government.

You could tell from the attitude of the reporters that they cut him off because they didn't like what Paul was saying about Obama.  I congratulate him, however, on having the balls to say what he did.

Congratulations to Rand Paul.

Pardon me for being cynical, but you got about 99 more senators to replace before trend can be stopped, let alone reversed. Lets see how he does against the D in the general.

Happy to see Rand won the primary but that whole Obama/socialist trashing at the end and speaking of American greatness...that stuff rubbed me the wrong way...I understand how he had to act to win the Republican primary but I hope he doesn't just become another token Republican talking point machine in the general election
