For liberty-minded students, this is a great way to gain attention for your campus group. Hold an event that educates the student body on their Constutional rights and what to do when getting pulled over. Students love the advice and sticking it to the man--in this case, to include state-friendly college administrators-- is always worthwhile.
Talk about killing two birds with one stone!
But when it comes to rights in the workplace you are suspiciously silent.
Can you please give a specific example?
private businesses have a much different playing field than a STATE funded college.
You don't have events on the quad on at the workplace where free speech can linger into the wee hours of the night.
I believe comparing the two are difficult. However, standing up for yourself in the workplace is important; sometimes protecting your rights at work can risk you your job.
This is a very informative video. I can't help but laugh, though, at the ACLU helping people avoid getting caught smoking marijuana in the car, having parties with minors drinking alcohol, and spraypainting graffiti. Where's the video to help me conceal a firearm that the state has no business knowing about? Talk about conspicuous silence.
That said, it is a good video.

It is so important to know your rights! Police are notorious for 'playing dumb'. If they don't read you your rights anything they find cannot be used in a court of law! Protect yourself!
