President Obama's Proposed Budget Would Add More Than $9.7 Trillion to the National Debt

When most people think that $12 trillion is a lot of money, we get this story:

President Obama's proposed budget would add more than $9.7 trillion to the national debt over the next decade, congressional budget analysts said Friday. Proposed tax cuts for the middle class account for nearly a third of that shortfall.

The 10-year outlook released by the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office is somewhat gloomier than White House projections, which found that Obama's budget request would produce deficits that would add about $8.5 trillion to the national debt by 2020.

When is it enough? When do our officials in Washington have to wake up before they realize they are destroying the country through debt?

It has been said that the greatest danger we face in this country is our fiscal irresponsibility.

Who is going to stand up and lead? It sure as hell isn't President Obama because he is the catalyst to this entire mess. We have nobody, and the people that we do have are shunned off because they actually challenge the status quo (RON PAUL!).

Wake up, people, and look at who we are electing:  Republicans are the biggest offenders in this respect because they believe the crap that comes out of the mouth of Republican leaders about fixing the problem. However, once you elect them, they turn their backs on you and screw you in a not so forgiving manner.

When does the real Revolution start? When will we stop letting the same people run our country and destroy it?

I expect a little more professionalism from YAL posts.

In response to Anonymous, I demand from all future YAL posts the exact same sort of concern, patriotism, and anger (yes, ANGER) about this blatant fleecing of the American economy by lawmakers.  If the lawmakers in DC want to spend another $9.5 trillion, let THEM pay for it!  We should not be forced to suffer for their gross profligacy.
