Police Brutality in New Orleans

In New Orleans' Jefferson Parish early Saturday morning, police tasered a woman whose 6 year old son had just been found murdered. She subsequently become violently upset, as might be expected under the circumstances, and the police decided a taser was necessary to bring her under control. As reported by Fox -- and it's unclear if the pro-police bias comes from the quote from the cop himself or from the reporter's paraphrase -- the policeman "had" to taser the mother after she "fought with him." Yes. Of course he had to. Obviously there would not have been a more humane option for dealing with a woman frantic over the death of her son. But problems of police brutality are hardly isolated to New Orleans. As explained by Paul Craig Roberts on LewRockwell.com:
The only terrorist most Americans will ever encounter is a policeman with a badge, nightstick, mace and Taser. A Google search for "police brutality videos" turns up 2,210,000 entries. Some entries are foreign and some are probably duplications, but the number is so large that a person could do nothing but watch police brutality videos for the rest of his life. A search on "You Tube" alone turned up 2,280 police brutality videos.
