Yesterday Peter Schiff was interviewed by Lawrence O'Donnell on MSNBC's "The Ed Show." Pat Buchanan aside, MSNBC is rarely worth watching, and all the parts of this interview which aren't Schiff talking aren't either.

"It’s not people shouting them down at town hall meetings now, they’re afraid because it’s hard to explain a hugely complex policy and very easy to distort." -Lawrence O'Donnell.
O'Donnell then proceeds to shout Schiff down and distort Schiff's hard to explain complex policy proposals.
Pot: Kettle, you're black!
Kettle: Well, at least I'm not O'Donnell.
I have also emailed MSNBC. Peter brings up valid points, and all O'Donnell does is belittle him.
WOW! I couldn't watch more than a minute of this interview. I am very happy that Peter kept his cool and tried to explain his positions. If it was me I would have stormed off the set.
I don't even see how they can call that an interview, considering he answered almost all his own questions putting words in Schiff's mouth. It's exactly the same tactic they use on Ron Paul! If you haven't already, check out the YT video "Peter Schiff They are listening now March 25th 2009." It shows the media laughing him off for years as he is predicting the current economic collapse. Considering he has been so accurate, you would think any true American would sit back quiet and listen to what he has to say!
I want to storm the set with a hammer and cave the MSNBC clods skull into pieces.
This is really maddening to see this level of rudeness directed toward a guest and not allowing him to give full and complete answers to questions in a civil manner.
Why do you think conservatives are so tired of the mainstream media and the tactics of the left in this country.
God help us!
But right wing media (FOX) never uses such tactics?
Turning our televisions off completely is a first step in sending a message to the media.
That guy is an asshole, you don't invite someone on your show to bash their balls in, you invite them on your show to hear their point of view and let them explain it WITHOUT interrupting them before they have a chance to answer your questions..
Very childish to interupt someone that you invited to speak, you know that is a setup when they invite you to a show and the host of the show is doing most, if not all of the talking/accusing/and cutting off the guest before they have time to make their point heard.
What was the goal of that interview? Did you learn anything? (other than the host is a very mannerless tv host) it seemed like they invited him on only to make him look unprepaired, and like he is an incompetant stumbling fool who can't get his words together. SO they invited him to step up to beat him down. Kudos to Schiff for showing such class and defending himself so well against MSNBC's feeble attempt to make him look bad.
GE owns MSNBC/NBC. I called them and told them to take the show off the air. Please do the same.
O'Donell is NOT a journalist. The sooner everyone realizes this the more you come to understand just what he is. He is a hack that MSNBC pays to jolt viewers emotions much like Jerry Springer. He increases ratings. Just because they dress him up in a shirt and tie doesn't make him anymore legitimate than you or I to do what he does. That is to enrage viewers.
Check out his credentials? He is an actor on an HBO series.
Peter Schiff should be more selective on who he sits down with.
