"Man Had Sex With Wife Thousands of Times Before Killing Her."

I'm guessing most of you disdain the mainstream media for many reasons, including its tendency towards sensationalism. If so, you'll enjoy this satire piece. Done as only The Onion can do it, it doesn't sound too much different than the sort of "stories" you hear on 20/20. (NB- some adult humor)

Is Matt Cockerill really going down the road where we see how ridiculous and offensive modern feminism has become? I'm impressed.

Sure, it's just a joke... it's the Onion. That doesn't change the fact that every day in this country, good men's lives are ruined simply at the word of females seeking to gain something through force of government. False rape claims, abuse accusations, and family court favoritism plague our society. This does more to destroy marriage and intersexual cooperation than gay marriage ever could.

Take, for example, the Duke lacrosse case. Those students had their names dragged through the mud for over a year, only to have it come out that the accusers made completely baseless claims. The story was so full of holes, and the prosecution's pursuit of "justice" was so overreaching, that the prosecutor, Mike Nifong, was found guilty of criminal contempt, disbarred, and served one day in jail (that's the state employee discount, I suppose).

The boys charged in this case spent thousands upon thousands of dollars in legal fees, which, luckily, they could afford. They were suspended from the team, their coach lost his job, and Duke lacrosse forfeited the season. The boys were arrested, jailed, had their personal lives turned inside out, and all of their belongings searched and catalogued. They received numerous threats on their lives and became the victims of multiple acts of vandalism. Players had to sue the school after being failed in classes as retaliation for their "crimes."

How many men can't afford to go through this process? How many lose in court due to inferior representation, or simply plead guilty to a lesser charge to avoid decades in prison?

As for Crystal Magnum, as you might have heard, she's in jail right now, accused with assault, arson, and attempted murder, after her 9-year old daughter called the police to report her domestic violence. She never once had to pay any consequences for her false rape claims, because North Carolina, like many states, protects women who make claims from prosecution in order to ensure that more women will come forward.

A look at all of the problems we see when people pursue government force is incomplete without a look at feminism and its consequences. This is one example of many. I wonder how many libertarian women have no problem using the courts and police to enforce child support and establish custody rights. Consider other "women's rights" issues, and ask yourself if you truly believe in supporting the idea of rights for specific minority populations, rather than rights given to all people.

I agree that claims of "sexual harassment" are often erroneous and unfair to men. "Suggestive looks" and off-color comments are not crimes. Also, consensual acts that some women later regret can easily be portrayed by an overzealous feminist as "unwanted," if said guy did not  come up to said girl on the street and say  "hey, if you want to have sex with me, please sign this contract."(though any person, provided he or she is over 12 and not an adherent to the PC cult, knows that clear yet unspoken understanding is the way humans do such things)

That being said, if a guy lives a moral lifestyle, and doesn't regard women as slabs of meat, it's very unlikely he'll be accused of sexual harassment. The problem is the hyper-sexualization of society and the fact that dating and boyfriend/girlfriend relationships have too often been replaced with "hook-ups." You rightly criticize aspects of modern feminism, but the state of modern men makes me even sicker.

There are good modern men, to be sure, but two alarming sub-categories are rapidly expanding: 1) Wusses, who by paying lip service to obviously false PC orthodoxies and suppressing their masculinity, are laughably usually trying to get action.  2) Party Animals totally beholden to their hormones who regard women as nothing more than a means to their end of getting laid.

The former are the hardcore-feminists pets, and the latter are the byproduct of the left's "sexual revolution."  These "bros" seemingly have no interest in forming a fun, meaningful bond with another human being. They might as well just order a mannequin and have their way with that.

I'd have to disagree with you on this one, Matt. This assumes a lot not only about the character of man, but of the character of women. It's on the line of arguing that women only invoke government oppression of men when it's semi-warranted. I know of many cases where men are ambushed by legal action that was precluded by no knowable actions on the part of the man in question. I speak also from personal experience, which might lend to the reasons that I feel so strongly about the subject. Only but by the grace of God (and the fact that the girl in question's entire family took my side after her false claims) did I avoid serious legal troubles.

Remember folks, diamonds aren't forever; the government putting you on an undefined list of "sex offenders" is.

Of course, I know your character, and that you'd never do such a thing, and thus, that the accusation was false. But that doesn't change the fact that you--at least from my experience-- are the outlier. I'm open to be persuaded otherwise, of course. =

Let me be quite honest with you: I would rather visit the wow nude website rather than be a witness for such horrible news. I mean, I don't want to know that much about it. Do you?

I have to agree with Gollum on this matter and say that I prefer testing my intensity now adult toy rather than watching such awful bloody news. The police is doing its job and that is all I need to know.
