My biggest criticism/question of the "Tea Party" movement as it has grown into a national phenomena has been, Where were all these protesters of big spending and big government when the Bush administration was doing all of the same things the Obama administration is doing? In a recent interview with Jon Stewart on Bill O'Reilly's "The Factor" Jon brought up this very point. Though in the process he asked something that made me take back all of my criticisms of Mr. Stewart over the past year.
Jon Stewart: "Here's another thing about the Tea Party Movement. Where was the anger? When we were spent into a 1.3 trillion dollar deficit under the Bush Administration. This has appeared out of no-where."
Bill O'Reilly: "It should have been there, and I'm partially to blame for that."
Jon Stewart: "Then why did Fox News not treat Ron Paul better? When he's been talking about this stuff for the past 8 years... 10 years."

I didn't realize my hypocrisy until Ron Paul pointed it out. It's really that simple.
Jon Stewart OWNED this interview. Bill O'Reilly looked like a fool
This is why BO never lets anybody with an IQ larger than his approximate 33 on his show.
FOX is controlled by Rupert, O'Reilly is a nutt, and Ron Paul gave the Tea Party its movement that is being taken over by the Republicans.
O'Reilly is a madman bent on destroying our collective unconscious . haha
I'm glad John brought up Ron Paul. The neo-con portion of the tea party movement definatley doesn't have much room to be angry about fiscal irresponsibility, like Stewart said. Getting the message out that Libertarians have been against spending for MANY YEARS prior to Obama, is going to be a challenge considering the Neo-Con noise machine loves taking credit for a libertarian movement =P. That being said, a new poll by the Des Moines Register shows that (at least in my state) that about 50% of Tea Party supporters, consider themselves independent of a political party. This means that a good chunk of people in the movement are not affiliated with the Neo-Conservatives, which is a good sign that people identify with the movement of liberty for what it is...not what fox news says it is. Also, 33% of likely voters would vote for a Tea Party candidate. This is a good sign for getting party status for Libertarians here in Iowa (and hopefully around America) =D
The Republican Party and their network of minions are the ones who require that children be indoctrinated. Otherwise, they will not have any members in the future. Children who are educated and not filled with hate at an early age will not choose to be affiliated with the Republican Party. They will see them for what they are: dishonest brokers in the effort to better the lives of the majority of Americans.
