Yesterday, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano spoke for a half hour about the need of our nation to respond to the threat of terrorism. Basically, her bottom line is the federal government needs to do more to educate the American people and make them "assets" instead of "liabilities." Here's the article. 

Personally, I'm freaked out. This sounds alot like the spies talked about in 1984. She's recruiting the public to be on the lookout for terrorists <or as 1984 would put it enemy spies.> Given certain definitions of dangerous persons, I think this is great cause for concern amongst freedom loving people everywhere.
