Don't hold your breath that this will be the piece of legislation we should count on. Even if it made its way through the House, it won't go anywhere in the Senate and will certainly be vetoed by the President. They are not going to jeopardize the secrecy of the Fed.
What's interesting to me is who is behind this bill in terms of Democrats. The people that represent me in Wisconsin are as liberal as they come, but Herb Kohl in the Senate wrote me and said he's supporting auditing the Fed....it makes me worry, but it is a great thing to get this "liberty lobby" going, as Jeff said.
There are a lot of positive aspects to this. Aside from practice, it's a cause for further publicity. No sense in worrying about the have-nots. Better to focus on the positives and make them work to our advantage.

he is still walking around like a free man. code pink has been harrassing him in public settings. there are several counties throughout the USA that have arrest warrants out for cheney, bush, rumsfield, et al of the administration. these are counties in Vermont and oregon which these crooks dare not go!
