Today we hosted the first of several free speech ball events on our campus. Starting at around 9:40 am, the ball took almost an hour to inflate (and deflate) but after it was aired up things really got moving. We positioned ourselves at Strong Hall, our Humanities College that is a very visible area.

Many walking by gave us a look like we were crazy but many more stopped by to see what was going on and to write something on the ball themselves! Nearly every individual we asked to sign their name and contact info in order to support our strides in campus reform agreed to! Gathering a little over 50 pieces of contact info and having many more coming up to sign the ball, MSU's first free speech ball was a success! We look forward to positioning in other high traffic areas throughout the semester and reaching out to our peers!
