From Johnny, president of the YAL chapter at Whatcom Community College:
On November 22 at 7pm, Bellingham City Council will vote on Red Light Cameras and Speed trap cameras. The YAL chapter at WCC and other interested Bellingham residents put enough pressure on the Council to get a unanimous vote to hold a public hearing on this issue. Now the Council is cancelling the public hearing because they "already made up their minds."
If you're interested in joining up with the WCC crew in voicing concerns over Red Light Cameras in Bellingham--or throughout northern/northwestern Washington--Johnny can be reached here.
