**Literally puts her surprise face on**
It's not every day that your average jihadist apologizes for mass murder. Of course, Adam Gadahn (Azzam the American) was quick to console the vast Muslim innocents lost, not the nonmuslims (since according to him, nonmuslim blood does not equate to Muslim blood):

"We express our condolences to the families of the Muslim men, women and children killed in these criminal acts," he said in the video. "And we ask Allah to have mercy on those killed and accept them as shohadaa (martyrs)."
We also express the same in regard to the unintended Muslim victims of the mujahedeen's operations against the crusaders and their allies and puppets, and to the countless faceless and nameless Muslim victims of the murderous crusades" in Afghanistan, Pakistan's Waziristan regions and Swat Valley, and elsewhere."
Gadahn, who is an American citizen is not only a member of the terrorist group but also one of it's spokepersons is on the FBI's most wanted terrorist list. I guess this would indicate that Al Qaeda is looking out for racial/ethnic diversity? Maybe the terror group is insinuating that Al Qaeda may after all be 'tolerant' of some sort? We can conclude this: to Al Qaeda anyone who is a Muslim jihadist is tolerable and anyone who is not is an imperialist infidel.

The reverse is true for Christo-fascists here in America. Everyone weeps and whines when US troops die, though they're just as guilty of being sociopathic murderers, and Christians of this country often don't seem to have a problem with Muslims and brown people dying. The deaths of 3000 or so people on 9/11 is seen as a tradgedy, but the tens- or even hundreds-of-thousands of civilian dead in Iraq and Afghanistsan is seen just as collateral damage.
You should pull that log out of your eye before you go criticizing the speck of dust in somebody else's.
You really think that American soldiers, as a general statement, are "sociopathic murderers?" I have plenty of friends in the military who joined because they love this country and they believe in its defense. They did not plan to be shipped off around the world on ill-conceived missions. They certainly take no joy in the death of civilians. To shovel hate and blame on the American soldier and not the policy-makers who put them in harms way is outrageous. Yes, our troops should be home, but without people willing to stand up and die for this country we would not survive as a nation.
Jacob, the demented nature of your 'argument' is too vast to go into here, but suffice it to say if you can't tell the difference between what Al-Qaeda does and what U.S. troops do, you have no business commenting on anything.
And "Christo-fascists"? I was unaware of a global Christian jihad. Can you tell me more about this?
geez this site is quickly becoming a war zone.
Jacob is right.
Dean, as for your friends, they should have research what they were getting into before they jumped in. This country is not in danger of attack, our military is not used for defense but to prop up the american empire.
Luke, yes christo-fascists do exsist they operate under names like the U.N. and they are currently fighting the "War on Terror" which is no more than a crusade.
@ John M: Haha... a little disagreement is healthy, no?
@Bryan: Maybe they should have done some reasearch but does that make them sociopathic murdurers? No. It just doesn't. Some of these kids were 17 years old when they applied to West Point. Hardly sociopathic (an adjective so poorly used here that it's laughable) as WP cadets are normally at the top of their class in HS and natural born leaders. Let us also not forget that many peace activists are vets (See: Ron Paul, Adam Kokesh, Jesse Ventura, etc) and that their unique first-hand view of our faulty foreign policy is far more valuable than yours or mine when it comes to promoting a less interventionist policy. I'm considering a tour of duty with the JAG Corps after law school, not because i'm a sociopath but because I do love my country despite our current policy flaws. I also have a friend who enlisted out of HS and is now a humvee mechanic deployed in Iraq. Is he a murdurer? A sociopath??
Also, the U.N has many horrific flaws but Christo-fascism doesn't seem to fit the mold. Most European states are increasingly atheistic. There is also a large contingent of muslim states in the General Assembly. But if we want to just agree that the UN is mostly BS, that's fine with me.
The point I really want to make is that outrageously misplaced insults towards the people willing to defend this country with their lives does nothing to advance the cause of peace and liberty, which I know is an objective we all share.
I have been struggling with the morality of being a soldier for a while. I was in 3rd Infantry Division in Fort Benning Georgia and I could tell that there was something insidiously wrong with living off of taxpayers money to do the bidding of a government. In no way whatsoever did I serve the people of this country, and in no way whatsoever do soldiers serve anyone here by going on "misguided" missions in foreign countries.
If you want to serve your fellow man, or better yet, yourself, take part in the market.
Wow. I can never insult the troops like that. Jacob, you need to understand that not ALL of the deaths are caused by the troops. Have you forgotten about the deaths caused by insurgents and terrorists? How they bomb a girls school, simply because they believe girls shouldn't be educated? OR how they kindap and murder their fellow citizens simply because they are not Shite or Sunni? What about those deaths? Those deaths are staggering compared to the troop deaths. I have many friends who are in the service; they are humble, loving people. They are just like anyone else. I also have a friend who almost died for saving an Iraqi. So please, don't read into the civilian dodo.
You also have to understand that they follow orders. When I was in rotc, I had a minimal idea of what following orders are. It's not easy, and it's not fun but a good serviceman will follow orders, maybe not always but most of the time. There is nothing wrong with serving in the military. Our troops deserve respect and grattitude for doing their duty. It's always easy being a civi and complaining and talking smack about them, until you actually get into a complex, emotional situation like they do. Peace out!
