I wish I could say that I'm genuinely surprised... The internet has been one of the greatest conduits for free thinking for quite some time now. It was only a matter of time before big government types started trying to find some way to control it. Freedom attracts tyranny like bees to honey. 

You make a valid point cause you don't realize or are in state of denial that there was a coup after 9-11 and we are under fascists or as they prefer to call themselves "globalists".

Thing may return to the old ways after the wars with Iran, Russia and China are over, for the small numbers that survive.

The argument he uses is just as sound as the argument for licensing drivers.  Driving is as much a privilege as surfing the web is.  Unfortunately, both arguments are equally bad but not everyone is willing to admit it on both counts.

Not surprising, the government simply is looking for another way to control the information that gets to the American Public. If it wasn't for the internet even less people would know about the real news like the global warming emails. It's ridiculous how easily the government can hide such things through the media. 

YES!!!! soon.......today's internet will die...and reform into a government run internet that requires you to have a license to go online.
