The Purdue University YAL chapter is persistently fighting for liberty on campus. Their next event is one of their monthly "Freedom Forums," this time about concealed carry on campus. The image above is one they are distributing on campus and the area.
Purdue's YAL chapter also has other upcoming events, including a Indiana state senate candidates' forum on April 1 and a Freedom Forum co-hosted with NORML on ending the war on drugs. Future plans also include tea parties truly devoted to liberty and hosting speakers like Jacob Hornberger from C4L and other liberty organizatons.
Finally, YAL chapters throughout Indiana are working together to create a speaking tour for Tom Woods on campuses around the state!

Here in Austin, it is very common for UT students to walk to and from campus every day and night and it's no coincidence that the number of rapes and assaults are highest in these frequently walked areas. Predators know that students won't be carrying protection in this area because they can't bring their guns on campus making them an easy target. UT is also a huge campus and at night, many areas are very dark and dangerous. I know that this isn't the only campus in the country that has these problems but it makes a good example. It is unfortunate that students aren't able to protect themselves because the lack of libertry to carry a gun. The number of assaults is climbing each and every day that passes and the need to carry protection remains.
