Money Bomb

Many years ago, Julius Caesar, emperor of Rome, was told to, "beware the Ides of March."

Help Young Americans for Liberty send the same message to Washington.

No more spending.

No more printing.

No more taxes.

No more wars.

Help us reign in the American Empire on March 16th.

I'm not sure about refuring to it as the American Empire. We the people are not an Empire. That's exactly what we're fighting now. A very evil Empire. We are a Republic. That's exactly what our founding fathers had in mind. It should read.  Help us reign in the American Republic on March 16th. I'm not trying to be a D. Just explaining that Empires are big government and that we need to keep the ferderal government within the confines of the constitution. It is the highest law in our land.

Err.. we have the biggest government ever.  We have our military in hundreds of countries.  I think we're an empire....

Errr do you understand what I'm saying here? Our federal government as huge as it has become was never supposed to be as large as it has grown under the constitution of the united states. Too many people just sat idly by and granted power after power to the federal government. Powers that should have never been delegated to the federal government by the states. It is the right of every state to nullify any federal law/agency that is deemed unconstitutional. If you look back throughout history you'll see that Government Empires eventually collapse. The larger a government grows the more tyrannical they become. The more unconstitutional taxes they impose. The less freedom and liberty people have. Do you really want to associate such a movement with an Empire? I suggest you all study the the documents our founding fathers set into place before you so ignorantly designate our REPUBLIC with and Empire.

We're not saying what it was supposed to be.  We're saying what it is.  It's an empire.  You can call it a republic all day long, but when you're waging  multiple foreign wars, have soldiers in over 140 countries, and have economic dominion in half the world, you're an empire.  I'd say it's pretty "ignorant" to keep referring to it as a republic when it has long since ceased to be anything of the sort.

Elliot Engstrom's picture

Why in Gods name would we help reign in even more of this American Empire? Are you people out of you minds? Haven't we had enough of this American Empire? I'm ignorant? My friend you have it totally wrong. I do everything in my power to keep freedom alive. So by your definition since the federal government has long since ceased being a republic, that our constitution is pretty much meaningless? So we should just follow the status quo and reign in the socialist America that you so dearly believe in? It's people like you who scare me the most. I guess I have no choice to campaign against the Young Americans for Liberty. Your true colors have been revealed, And it's not Red White and Blue.
