RE: Libertarian Women

It's inevitable that this subject is going to occasionally resurface in the minds of honest libertarians since:

1) It is relevant, because an all "bros" movement is ridiculously lame and functionally ineffective. (not to mention smelly)

2) It exists, as objectively demonstrated by statistics and everyone's personal experience.

Only the "anti-prejudice," stazi, which uses the dumbed-down, dishonest, feel-good, easy-way- out (i.e. politically correct) language of the state to demonize "thought offenders," would deny either of the two above points.

But luckily, dudes like me won't have to bring up this issue anymore since voices vastly superior in wisdom and credibility have arrived. Specifically, the brilliant and beautiful women of LOLA have emerged as the premier engine of bringing more libertarian ladies to the movement. The women of LOLA have a unique and important role to play in the drive for more freedom. They blend classic liberal argument with post-modern feminism and seek to truly empower women in the world. However, this approach falls on a lot of deaf (and female) ears. Men and women are BOTH important to this movement, but many people believe this for different reasons. This country's history of liberty was founded by men who were men, who couldn't possibly have succeeded without the support of amazing women. If this movement is to succeed and to have lasting value, we have to embrace the complimentary partnership of men and women, start libertarian families, and teach our children the value of freedom.

Don't feel like I'm picking on women here. Men need to step up and be willing to take on the responsibility of providing for a family. There are far too many single mothers out there because men shirk their responsibilities of their half of the life equation. Marriage laws and government mandate make that arrangement a difficult choice at best, but there's a reason nature requires a man and a woman both to create human life. Every generation of libertarians that dies without progeny, or become so wrapped up in their own cause that they ignore the education of their children, is a wasted score of years, after which the movement must start over again from scratch. Let's make this time different.
