ABOUT

The mission of the Pacific Research Institute (PRI) is to champion freedom, opportunity, and personal responsibility for all individuals by advancing free-market policy solutions.

Since its founding in 1979, PRI has remained steadfast to the vision of a free and civil society where individuals can achieve their full potential. Put simply, public policy is too important to be left just to the experts.

Individuals are the real decision makers when it comes to their schools, health care, and environment. PRI reinforces this ideal by providing you with the information, inspiration, and opportunity to make decisions about the daily issues that matter most to you.

The Institute's activities include publications, events, media commentary, legislative testimony, and community outreach.

The mission of the Benjamin Rush Society is to support the rights of individuals to acquire the health care of their own choice, free from government intervention, and to promote fellowship among those in the medical profession who subscribe to this principle.

INTERNSHIPS

Each year the Pacific Research Institute hires a variety of interns for all of our policy areas. We also host events nation-wide that are regularly attended by students.

BENAMIN RUSH SOCIETY

In addition to the work done by the Pacific Research Institute, our president and CEO Sally C. Pipes, has launched the Benjamin Rush Society.

Modeled after the Federalist Society, the Benjamin Rush Society is an organization comprised of medical doctors, residents, fellows, medical students, and policy advocates who believe that the profession of medicine calls its practitioners to serve their patients, not the government.
