Executive Committee
The Executive Committee is responsible for the day-to-day operations of YAL. Its greatest task is to serve YAL chapters and members, whose invaluable input prevents YAL from becoming a top-down organization and determines the activities and events planned. The committee is led by the Executive Director, responsible for a cohesive work environment, overseeing the operations, spending, and executing the approved annual plan.
YAL's National Field Program is directed by the Executive Committee and led by the National Field Director (NFD). The field program is comprised of the National Field Director, Regional Directors, State Chairs, and chapter presidents and members.
The NFD is responsible for starting, administering, and communicating with YAL chapters. Regional Directors are responsible for organizing regional events, recruiting and appointing State Chairmen/Chairwomen, and starting new YAL chapters. State Chairmen/Chairwomen start YAL chapters and manage activities and events in their states. Finally, Chapter Presidents are elected by YAL members within their chapter and lead their daily chapter operations.
The field program leads YAL's fight for liberty on campus.
