Thank you to everyone that came out to CPAC 2010 in support of limited government, sound money, personal liberty, and Congressman Ron Paul!  The weekend was nothing short of a tremendous success.

Without a doubt the highlight of the weekend were the straw poll results and the non stop excitement surrounding YAL's activities at the convention.  Congressman Paul came out on top in a landslide victory with 31% to Mitt Romney's 22% and Sarah Palin's 7% - it was not even close.  Complete CPAC Straw Poll results can be found here.  (It is also excellent that Sen. Jim Demint received the highest favorable rating for the Favorable/Unfavorable question and that 80% felt reducing the size and scope of government was the most pressing issue!)

Young Americans for Liberty absolutely dominated the media coverage of CPAC as well.  Fox News, NBC Nightly News, CNN, MSNBC, Keith Olbermann, Rachel Maddow, Politico, Drudge Report, LA Times, Huffington Post, and tons of other blogs, newspapers, and tv stations all picked up on our booth, activities, and other things throughout the weekend.  A continunally updated list of media coverage from this past weekend can be located here.
