Constitution Week 2012 Report
From September 17 to 24, 103 YAL chapters nationwide introduced a new generation to our founding document -- the U.S. Constitution. YAL's Constitution Week 2012 was our largest week of chapter participation in our history, reaching quite literally tens of thousands of young people with our message of liberty and limited government.
Please take a few moments to look over this report and see how YAL's growing network honored the Constitution this year. We think you'll be amazed at the dedication and creativity of YAL activists as they advanced free speech, economic liberty, and other constitutional principles on campus!
YAL @ UT-Tyler put together an awesome video showing their Constitution Week activism focused on the NDAA -- and the
YAL @ NC State's Constitution Week included a campus visit from the Stossel Show.
YAL @ Indiana University built a Free Speech Wall, hosted a speaker from the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education,
YAL @ Northwood University spoke with a Turkish exchange student who was excited by their activism because of the limits on speech in her country.
YAL @ UW-Madison's Constitution Week happened just before their campus got a visit from President Obama...so of course
YAL @ the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs held a satirical memorial service for our dying constitutional rights and liberties.
More YAL chapters participated in Constitution Week 2012 -- 103 chapters -- than any other national activism project our history!
