On Friday, January 29th, Temple University's YAL chapter decided to celebrate the Constitution. The day before our event, our chapter met up to finalize all the details for the day. We were excited to reach as many students as possible and to pass out more than 30 pounds of pocket Constitutions.
At noon we set out to Temple University's bell tower eager to spread liberty on campus. It was a cold, dreary day, but we weren't going to let that stop us. We were excited with how responsive people were to our event. We passed out more than 200 Constitutions in less than 45 minutes.
We even gained a few eager new members to our chapter. Overall, we were really happy with how successful our event was. Our chapter was thrilled to start off the semester with such a success, and we hope this is a sign of things to come.
